Foundations

Our Foundations classes exist to equip you with foundational tools that help you flourish as disciples of Jesus. Bible Basics will teach you the grand storyline of the Bible, about it’s authorship, genres, its authority in our lives, and how to faithfully interpret your Bible.  In Core Doctrine you will learn the first order doctrines of the Christian faith — in other words — beliefs that directly related to our Salvation.  And in Faith Formation you will learn the practices of the Christian faith that lead to growth in godliness and a vibrant relationship with Jesus.

+ BIBLE BASICS

Bible Basics is a course to help you know God’s Word better so that you can read it and understand it for yourself. Throughout the four sessions we will: 1. Look at what the Bible is and how we got it today. 2. See how the whole storyline of Scripture all ties together in one story. 3. See how each genre in the Bible communicates God’s Word and learn how to read and study them for yourself.

+ CORE DOCTRINE

Core Doctrine seeks to help you understand and articulate the foundational beliefs of the Christian faith. The goal of these four sessions is: 1. You will learn about the doctrines that are at the very centre of the Christian faith; 2. You delight in the One in whom our core doctrines point; and 3. You learn how to hold those beliefs in a winsome way.

+ FAITH FORMATION

How do we walk with Jesus in the Christian life in a way that leads to godly growth? What practices lead to maturity and intimacy with the Lord? These session will teach you the processes and practices that nurture faith formation in your life.
