Real Change | Care Ministry Class

BIBLICAL CHANGE FROM THE INSIDE OUT.

At Central we want to be equipped for personal discipleship and intentional helping relationships. We are inviting regular Central attendees who have a passion for care ministry to join us for this upcoming training event.

Whether a new or mature Christian, we all have areas of our lives that need transforming, but how does the process of change work?

This 6 week class uses the book 'Real Change: Becoming More Like Jesus in Everyday Life' to discover how the gospel and relationship with Christ changes us from the inside out. We'll be addressing the topics of understanding how we typically respond to trouble, how the cross of Christ brings comfort, help, and change, and how we can grow to be like Christ in the hardest circumstances.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Note: Participants should plan to attend all 6 sessions as each builds on another. Each class will consist of some teaching time as well as discussion in pairs. There will be approximately 1hr of weekly homework.
